The Freedom of the Seas is the largest cruise ship ever built when she is launched in May 2006. The ship's extra length and size has enabled Royal Caribbean International (RCI) to include lots of exciting options first time on a cruise ship such as a surfing pool, a 9-hole miniature golf course, a three-story dining room, a full three miles of public corridors and the biggest casinos at sea.

There is an ice-skating rink for recreational skating as well as for Ice Capades type shows, a casino, a Johnny RocketsŪ '50s-style restaurant, Ben & Jerry'sŪ ice cream, and a lot more.
There are many different levels of cabins, ranging from the 14-person, 1200 square foot Presidential Family Suite to a 160 square foot, twin-bed interior cabins.
Fitness center is equipped with the latest equipment and a large aerobics room. There is a full-sized boxing ring on board too.
Freedom has a very large main dining room is set on three levels (each has a theme and different name: Leonardo, Isaac, and Galileo). A dramatic staircase connects all three levels, the dining room is non-smoking.
